Culturama 2018 Report

CULTURAMA 2018

Culturama 2018, during its 6^th year, celebrated the Annual School Fest at SVKM JV Parekh International School with the initiative ‘Cycle 2 School‘.

The celebrations began on the 31^st January morning when the students of the IBDP curriculum along with the PTA and faculty members planned a day full of activities for the Aadivasis of the Duggad Village, Bhiwandi District, Thane.

The day witnessed presence and participation of the entire village including Men, Women and Kids.

As a part of the initiative, the students had pledged to give 40 cycles to ensure the kids of the village were equipped to be able to travel to school every day.

The students of the IB curriculum extend their gratitude to the philanthropic PTA and the parent community for their continuous guidance and support.

Culturama 6.0 with a difference

Culturama is back !

Every year we celebrate Culturama as a sustained commitment to a cause. At SVKM, not only we aim at developing inquiring, knowledadge and caring learners, our students acquire skills to be fully engaged citizens.

Culturama 5 introduced to you a marathon with a cause, The Causathon with a purpose of raising funds towards lending a helping hand in up-lifting the tribal children in the field of education, sports and life skills training at Duggad Village in the Bhiwandi district, Thane.

This year, our aim is to support education of every child in the village of Duggad.

The goal this year is to provide cycles to the children in the village so that every child in Duggad is empowered with access to education- a basic human right.

We invite one and all to participate in this noble cause of Culturama 6.0 !

You can visit our stall during this year's Sports Day (11th and 12th Jan) and register for your Voluntary contribution as a sponsorship for Culturama.
